You must reside within the state of Texas and provide acceptable proof of residency to be eligible for enrollment.
A copy of one of the following documents must be provided to verify your legal residence.
- Gas, electric, or water bill from the last 60 days that includes your name and service address
- Mortgage statement from the last 60 days or annual lease agreement
- Valid driver's license or state-issued ID showing current address
All students in iUniversity Prep must provide evidence of their immunizations on either a state of Texas official immunization form. These forms must be stamped or signed by a health care provider. Texas allows for medical, personal or religious exemptions. Medical exemptions must be signed by a health care provider. Please use the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Immunization/Exemption form if requesting an exemption. Parents seeking exemption from immunizations for personal or religious reasons must request a vaccine exemption affidavit form in writing by mail, fax (512-458-7544) or via a secure online request form from the Department of State Health Services, Immunization Branch.

You may need to provide additional documentation if any of the following circumstances apply:
Custody order: If your legal guardianship is determined by a court order, please submit a copy of the order.
If you are requesting enrollment in a course that is ahead of your student's age-based grade level or you are requesting placement in an Advanced course, an Academic Services Counselor will contact you to request a report card, Prior Academic History Form, and/or state test scores.
IEP or 504 plan: If your student has an IEP or a 504 plan, please provide the most recent ARD or 504 plan for appropriate placement and transfer scheduling. Students with disabilities (504 or IEP) may be able to enroll if they only need accommodations or limited speech therapy that can be effectively delivered via Adobe Connect. Students in iUniversity Prep will not be able to receive services for ESL, dyslexia, gifted and talented and special education instruction.
STAAR or STAAR End of Course Exam results: Students must provide passing STAAR scores on previous school year exams. Students without a STAAR score should provide a norm-referenced standardized test (i.e. SAT, IOWA, Stanford...)
For students in fifth through eighth grade: Passed the 2021 STAAR or the iUP alternate assessment if the student did not sit for all applicable STAAR exams.
For students in ninth through twelfth-grade: Passed the requisite EOCs to date and on track to graduate in four years
Previous Report Card or Transcript
You must submit the most recent report cards and/or transcript in order to appropriately place student in courses and grade levels.
Proof of Age
To participate in iUniversity Prep, students must:
Be able to perform at grades 5 – 12 in a Texas public school curriculum.
A copy of the student's official birth certificate must be provided to verify age eligibility. To avoid unnecessary delays, provide a copy of the birth certificate along with your enrollment documents.
A copy of the enrolling parent/guardian's government issued photo identification card which includes the parent/guardian's name and date of birth (e.g. driver's license, state ID) must be submitted along with your enrollment documents.
Caretaker Proof of Identity
A student is eligible to enroll full-time in courses if the student:
1. Was enrolled in a public school in this state in the preceding school year;
2. Has been placed in substitute care in Texas, regardless of whether the student was enrolled in a public school in this state in the preceding school year; or
3. Is a dependent of a member of the United States military, was previously enrolled in high school in this state; and no longer resides in this state as a result of a military deployment or transfer.
Prior Public Schooling Requirements
iUPrep is a Magnet School
Eligible students would meet the following criteria:
Academic success demonstrated on final report card or transcript
On grade level
Passed previous STAAR exams
For students in fifth through eighth grade: Passed the 2022 STAAR exams.
For students in ninth through twelfth-grade: Passed the requisite 2022 EOCs to date and on track to graduate in four years
Student in good standing with attendance & discipline
Provide all required documents for enrollment
Active participant in the enrollment conference
Possess all required materials, computer and software to actively engage in online learning
